Summer Camp at Ijula Equestrian
Spend a week with us doing what you love most — horses, all day long.

Ijula Equestrian's Summer Camp is a small, immersive horsemanship experience set on our working farm in the heart of Sonoma County. Each week, a group of up to eight campers ages 6–14 spend five days getting to know our horses from the ground up: learning to groom and tack, caring for the barn, and riding every day in a safe, supportive environment.

We keep our groups intentionally small because we believe every young rider deserves real attention, real instruction, and real time in the saddle, not just a turn on a lead line. Whether your child is stepping into a barn for the first time or has been riding for years, camp meets them exactly where they are.

Campers ride daily, build confidence with horses on the ground, and leave on Friday with a deeper understanding of horsemanship than they arrived with on Monday. Our focus is the same as it is in all of Ijula's programs: community, genuine skill-building, and a love of horses that lasts.

Camp runs Monday through Friday, 10am–3pm. After care is available for campers ages 12 and up. Please bring a packed lunch each day. Snacks and water will be provided.
